Bio
Melissa has 20 plus years of tax and accounting experience, and she assists clients in a variety of ways, from compliance of complex tax laws, rules, and regulations to interpreting financial data and projecting future outcomes. She is a Tax Partner for Heard, McElroy & Vestal at the Monroe location and serves as a Committee Member for HMV Wealth Advisors, LLC.
Melissa holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, awarded to individuals who successfully complete the certification requirements in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement planning.
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University, and was elected partner in 2008.
